Mr. Crawford is a professional associate of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works. He has served in the field of conservation for over 30 years. During his tenure, he has participated in many high-profile projects, including the Brumidi Corridors in the National Capitol and the Ario Rios building in Washington D.C. In addition, Mr. Crawford has assisted in the restoration of wall paintings in the penthouse of the United States Department of the Interior as well as Ben Shahn’s Social Security murals. He has conserved important paintings for the collections at the South Carolina State Museum, the Columbia Museum of Art, the Huntsville Museum of Art, and the Historic New Orleans Collection.
